Robyn Conte, N.D

Dr. Robyn Conte (formerly Dr. Robyn Mulia) is licensed as a Naturopathic Medical Doctor (NMD) with the State of Arizona and is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians. Dr. Conte currently practices as a primary care physician, prescribing medications, ordering labs and imaging, performing physical exams, as well as offering her patients acupuncture, counseling, clinical nutrition, botanical medicine and homeopathy.

Dr. Conte attended Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, Tempe, Az., for its focus on integrative medicine She performed clinical rotations with MDs, DOs, as well as NMDs in Arizona and Connecticut. She focused her clinical training in OB/GYN care.

“Many women feel comfortable discussing hormonal changes as well as sexuality issues with a female physician because we can personally relate to and understand PMS, menopause, pregnancy and other issues,” says Dr. Conte.
A strong proponent of early testing for Human Papilloma Virus (HPV), which can reduce the risk of cervical cancer, Dr. Conte offers the HPV vaccine, Gardasil, for her female patients aged 9-26.

Dr. Conte studies extensively the impact of nutrition on mental illness, including ADHD, depression and anxietys. Dr. Conte believes that homeopathy and botanical medicine complement dietary revision, lifestyle changes, and mind-body therapies to help restore balance for her patients.

Originally from Westport, CT, Dr. Conte first realized the joy of helping others through her volunteer efforts with special education students in high school in her hometown. She received her Bachelor of Arts with a double major in economics and English from Mount Holyoke College, South Hadley, Mass. She also attended the London School of Economics (LSE), and after working in the business world for five years, she returned to school to complete her medical studies.

Dr. Conte lives with her husband and daughter in North Phoenix.


About Thomas A. Kruzel N.D.

Thomas A. Kruzel N.D. is a naturopathic physician who is in private practice at the Rockwood Natural Medicine Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona.

He is the former Vice President of Clinical Affairs and the Chief Medical Officer at the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Phoenix, Arizona. He received a BA in Biology from the California State University at Northridge, and his Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine degree from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine. Dr. Kruzel is also a board certified Medical Technologist.

He completed 2 years of Family Practice Medicine residency at the Portland Naturopathic Clinic where he was chief resident prior to entering private practice.

He has been an Associate Professor of Medicine at National College of Naturopathic Medicine where he has taught Clinical Laboratory Medicine, Geriatric Medicine and Clinical Urology. He is the author of the Homeopathic Emergency Guide A Quick Reference Handbook to Effective Homeopathic Care published by North Atlantic Books and has published numerous articles in The Journal of Naturopathic Medicine as well as other publications. He is also the past president of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians and was selected as Physician of the Year by the AANP in 2000 and Physician of the Year by the Arizona Naturopathic Medical Association in 2003.
